Good morning and welcome to the weekend!!!! We are currently enjoying Nora’s soccer game in St. Louis after having dinner out with Megan’s family in Chesterfield. We ate at the Italian restaurant Paul Manno’s. This is one of their favorite Italian restaurants and we were celebrating promotions for both Megan and her husband. Back in elementary we would celebrate after great parent teacher conferences, so it’s kind of the same thing – but McDonald’s cost lots less than Paul Manno’s.
For that matter, McD’s cost lots less than now as well!
Personally, I feel it’s rather sacrilegious for a St. Louis person to have a favorite Italian restaurant that is NOT on “The Hill”! This was an Italian community established years ago and it still has numerous Italian establishments and grocery stores. It’s a quaint neighbor with beautiful homes, narrow streets, and just a big part of the St. Louis area. A restaurant on The Hill is a great place for an early dinner before attending a performance at the Fox Theatre.

I quickly prepared a PDF of the “Roman Shade” fun fold card above for you. You can find it by clicking on the link below to access. I did NOT upload the FB live to YouTube this time, so if you need to watch, please check out the video from Oct. 14 on our group page!
We head to KC tomorrow for a home foot ball game with the Chiefs and 75,000 of our friends. Pool Boy and Mike Primrose are in charge of the tailgating food – pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, pasta salad, and fried potatoes. How’s that for a menu – no hotdogs and hamburgers for tailgating with our group!
Have a great weekend, enjoy the cooler temps, find time to craft and create, and God Bless!
