Good morning to all! This post will be short and sweet since our new grandson is coming to spend the morning with us. With first time parenting comes the surprise that daycares may not be open every day that the parents work. They didn’t realize that Good Friday would be a closed day so Papa Jim and Nana Lola to the rescue for the morning. Not a problem though – I’m sure most grandparents would step in to help out!!!
Pam’s Card From Last Week’s FB LIVE!
I loved the simplicity of this beautiful card and wanted to recreate in a different way. Unfortunately, when I went through my DSP selections I did not the same DSP she used. It’s an online exclusive and I missed ordering it, but what I DID have was the equally beautiful Dry Brushed Metallic DSP from the mini catalog!!! I LOVE the simplicity of this card design that is so easy to replicate with things you have on hand for a quick yet striking card!
My Card Using The Dry Brushed Metallic!
When we see a beautiful card we want to re-create when to tend to think we need the exact same materials to make the card. BUT when we don’t have the materials then PIVOT and USE what you do have!!! Embrace change and variety in your paper crafting!
Final Thoughts…
I anticipate with the house full of company that this will be my final post of the week. I hope you and your family may gather together, and that you have a Blessed Easter morning as we celebrate our Risen Lord. God’s Blessings!
