I have played with valentines to the point I was ready for a change!!! I had my Lucky Clover stamp set out and I figured we definitely need some good luck right about now. We’ve been lucky to have had a fairly mild winter except for a week of extremely frigid temps, but they are calling for a chance of freezing rain today and it’s just kind of “bleh” outside. Needed some green to perk things up!!!
I was so excited to see this punch and stamp set bundle in our new mini catalog when I saw it in November. I love holidays, and we haven’t had a true St. Pat’s set for years. If you wanted to design a class or sampler around the holiday you had to think WAY OUT OF THE BOX to come up with sayings and you can only punch and fold so many hearts to build a shamrock!!! This set has great greetings as well as several shamrock images of varied sizes, and when you pair it with our many green shades the creativity can flow!
I used the Brights DSP collection for the plaid background, then simply cut a 1 and 1/4 inch strip off and flipped the piece to the alternate dotted pattern on the back. My label is one from the Something Fancy Dies in the mini catalog. By cutting a second label using Parakeet Party and then cutting it in half, I’m able to add color to the Basic White label by glueing to the ends of the white label. An old trick that’s been around for years BUT STILL WORKS!
Final Thoughts…
Ireland had always been on my bucket list of travels and we finally made it there in 2019. I think there was a perpetual smile on my face the whole trip – I LOVED the country and the people and would travel back there in a heart beat. This has always been one of my favorite photos of Dingle Bay. Ireland was also on Pool Boy’s bucket list although he didn’t know it. He says I’m in charge of his bucket list too! Now that we’ve marked Germany off the list, I’m thinking Italy may have to be added – Pool Boy loves Italian food!!!
Until next time, keep stamping, keep crafting, stay safe if you are dealing with weather issues, and God Bless!
