Playing With The New Bough Punch!

Today’s temperatures took a drop through the night, and we are predicted to have a balmy high today of 9 degrees. Yesterday – that I thought was cold! – obviously was a heat wave! LOL I’m thankful that I’m able to stay inside and work on projects versus having to brave the elements like so very many do. In this area students are heading back to school after long Christmas breaks. These next three months ahead make for the longest stretch of the school year, and also the push for new concepts so say a prayer our students can remain in seat for school versus going virtual! Go Teachers and Kids!!! You got this!!!

We are continuing to work with the new punches that are in the January-June Mini Catalog, and I have to say this bough punch is a definite keeper! I love the addition of the little berry sprig on the punch! Super cute, and super easy to add depth and dimension to your paper crafting creations!

My FAVORITE Punch Tip To PUNCH Up Your Greetings!

My FAVORITE little tip to add a WOW to label punches and die cuts!!!! Take the same label as the greeting label, split in half and by adding a small amount of adhesive to the back of the greeting label, you can give your label a MAT!!!! Scroll back to the card front for the finished mat look!

The first time I was taught to cut a second image in half and use as a mat for the greeting image I was completely wowed! To this day I love to use this tip for any punches or die cuts to dress up by greetings on cards!

So Which Punch Will I Use Next?????

So we have one more punch for me to play with – have you figured out which one did NOT make my must have list??? Of course, before June is here I’m sure I will have to have it after seeing projects and cards created with it! The Cactus Builder Punch has not found a home in my craft room, but only time will tell while I watch others playing and creating!!
