Good morning and Happy Saturday!!!! What’s on your agenda for today?? We are working on Stamp n Sip’s project so it is ready for Monday but otherwise it’s going to be a quiet, uneventful weekend which we are ready for. Other than a trip to see Jim’s mom or the family in St. Louis our next two months are at home. Travelling is wonderful BUT we are happiest at home.
From Vertical To Horizontal!
So I mentioned yesterday that I was going to use the same products – other than color – to recreate this fun fold horizontally and I’m thinking I like this one even better than the one yesterday with Mossy Meadow and Wild Wheat. Here is yesterday’s card:
So, which do you prefer?? Horizontal like the Pebbled Path one, or vertical like the Mossy Meadow one???? I’m planning for the Stamp ‘n Sip gals to make the horizontal one on Monday night along with their project. They lean towards projects versus cards but everyone of them either has a husband, a dad, a son, or a son in law that needs a Father’s Day card!!! I’ll also throw out another greeting so they have a choice though.
The greeting for the inside is from the stamp set Layering Leaves. And the bobber is so easy to stamp in the water by masking. Because I didn’t have a contrasting color such as the one with Mossy Meadow and Wild Wheat, I needed either no mat for the inside greeting OR use one of the DSPs as a mat – super cute!
Final Thoughts…
Father’s Day will be here before you know it! Even though Jim and I have both lost our dads years ago we celebrate them for the wonderful men they were, and we are able to celebrate both our son and son in law for the great dads they are right now! Our grandchildren are so lucky to have them. As for Pool Boy, he is truly the best dad ever in the eyes of Megan, Evan, and me. I’m sure you feel the same about yours!
Until next time, have a wonderful weekend, find some time to enjoy the little things of life, and God Bless!
