Good Morning everyone!! Prayers for our friends and family waking up to the destruction and repercussions of Hurricane Ian. Having never gone through a devastating loss from a natural disaster I can’t possibly fathom what they are going through. Here in northeast Missouri we are waking to sunshine and a brisk morning with blue skies. And October is 1 day away!!!!
The Olive Branch Stamp Set In Gray Granite
I continue to play with the stamp set Olive Branch, and wanted to create a monochromatic sympathy card to share with my team, but I also wanted the color to be very soft. Every stamped image above is a second generational stamp – simply meaning, every image has been stamped off before applying ink to paper! I used the small olive branch stamp in the set to create a soft border on the Gray Granite mat, then embossed the mat with the Timeworn Type embossing folder to add texture and interest.
For a finishing touch, I used Wink Of Stella on all olives, then added a streak along most of the leaves as well. I love Wink Of Stella!! No stamper should be without it in their crafting arsenal!!!!

Final Thoughts…
I hope you are able to enjoy some quiet time today doing whatever craft you enjoy. I’ve had a busy 3 days with final preps for our Christmas Card Class #3, then spending time yesterday stamping MY CARDS from the card class as well as packaging up the kits being mailed out on Friday or picked up at my house. I am hoping to have some of that quiet time myself to simply create and play. Have a wonderful day and God Bless!
