Sharing The Love With Gift Ideas!

Good morning everyone!!! We are just a couple of days away from Valentine’s Day, and we’ve been sharing so many ideas with the Made With Love Suite from Stampin’ Up!’s spring mini catalog. I’ve posted multiple card ideas, service projects as well as home decor items. I’ve yet to share a large sampler I created last weekend, and we haven’t touched on treat bag ideas either.

I LOVE designing samplers to share! And lucky for me most of the die cuts were cut out and in my left over bag from the hospital cards. I can happily say that the giant pile of the Real Red hearts that Pool Boy ran are completely gone!! We were talking last night about the color combo of Flirty Flamingo, Poppy Parade, and Real Red. Before this DSP package arrived I’d never have put the three together – Flirty and Poppy yes, but include Real Red??? Nope. Wouldn’t have been invited to the party!

That to me is a strength of Stampin’ Up! – putting color combos that we might not have normally used together in a way we find pleasing and fresh. They do make us think outside the box with those 50 shades of color, don’t they???

Pam shared turning the gusseted heart bags to ones that stand last night on our FB Live. SUCH A SIMPLE THING TO DO!!! And I’d received a treat bag similar to the one on the right from a friend yesterday. We deconstructed – not destroyed because I had to be able to reproduce! – her bag and turned around and recreated with Stampin’ Up! current supplies and how easy it is as well!!! These little goodies are a fun and easy way to share some love with others anytime of the year! A little pick me up is always appreciated!

I need to make a couple of gift bags tomorrow for the grandsons’ Valentine gifts. We are on call to babysit Saturday night while the parents go to dinner. Then Megan and the girls will arrive that weekend as well. The girls’ packages will include some candy and green stuff – they’re at the age that money works well.
