Good morning everyone! It’s hard to believe we are currently in the month of April with the cool temps outside. Of course, the April showers and thunderstorms have been rolling through and we have more on the way this weekend. That means mowing will be pushed back another few days, and we still have yardwork to do outside with flower beds and such. It’s a never ending job, isn’t it?
Many of you have reached out about Pool Boy and I thank you for your concern. We have had multiple tests and I believe we are pointed in the right direction for answers. It involves more doctor’s appointments next week but he is feeling some better and for that I’m thankful. My momma and daddy always said the doctor’s appointments made up their social calendar! I believe we’ve hit that point in life as well!
The Spotlight Technique From Tech Class Yesterday!

Yesterday during my Techniques class we worked with the spotlight technique. Have you ever tried it??? In the example above I used the Doggone Friendly stampset (that yesterday was on the last chance list, today GONE!) but also had the Meow Mates stampset for those who prefer the feline variety. The spotlight technique can be used with any stamps – large arrangements of flowers, any background stamp, even beautiful leaves. Stamp the image in black, chose a section to diecut, then color in the section removed. Adhere to another mat such as the black circle above, then pop up with dimensionals. It gives a very unique paper creation, and no two will be alike!
A New Pop Up Class Is Heading Your Way!!!

I will be rolling out the next Pop Up Class next week and as always, we have LIMITED SUPPLIES!!
