Happy Monday night and what an ending to last night’s football game!!!!!! Was that unreal but so very typical of the Chiefs?? My heart rate was higher sitting at home watching it on TV versus sitting in the stadium two weeks ago. Was I a doubting Thomas? Yes – we were having injuries right and left dropping like flies. The Chargers were so determined and it looked like they were going to beat us – but, left too much time on that clock for Saint Patrick! Remember, this is the guy to go down the full field with 13 seconds to time a game last year. And if you saw him sitting on the sidelines with a couple of minutes left and we’re behind – he’s chilling! Smiling, relaxed, waiting to go to work. Throw Travis Kelce (or as our Fiona calls him, Travis Chelsea) into the mix with our coach Andy Reid – kind of a football trifecta. And when our defense needed to step up – they did!!!
Ok, enough about football and on to crafting! I’m sure you are like me and there are things in your crafting area you have yet to use! The Snowflake Vellum was one of those things for me. I wanted to use the cute Snowman Magic bundle again and this time spatter the Night of Navy background with snow. Last week Stampin’ Up shared a gift tag with a snowy background that they spattered with the Snowfall Accent Paint so I needed to give it a try as well. Loved the look, and even needed to puff the bunny’s tail as well!

Final Thoughts…
Can I circle back to football and Patrick Mahomes one last time? They were showing a recorded interview yesterday, and the interviewer commented how incredibly smart he was. Patrick simply gave credit to the Chiefs former starting quarterback – Alex Smith – and his current backup quarterback – Chad Henne – for teaching, guiding, and helping him to develop. His backup quarterback – who RARELY gets to touch the ball! He didn’t take the compliment but instead gave credit to others for helping him be the player he is. This has been one of my favorite things about him. His humbleness is remarkable – something we should all emulate.
I hope you have a great day and you can find some time to craft. And if you just happen to click on ESPN or the NFL network you might see some highlights from last night’s magical ending. Until tomorrow, God Bless!!!
