If you are a paper crafter, I bet there are several items in your supplies that you simply can’t part with. I have several! I still have the first stamp set I bought! I’ve the clover punch and stamp set that is not leaving my supplies anytime soon. I still have most of the punches I purchased, and every year about this time I roll out one of my favorite stamp sets to celebrate July 4.

Just the label in the case dates it – we’ve gone through a couple of label changes since that funky green top of the case insert! Currently our item numbers begin with 167 – and this one goes back to item number 142! These are the cling stamps (that really didn’t cling) and of course the old case packaging.
But I love those little firework stamps. And every year they make an appearance in my summer projects.

Last night on our group page I shared the Playful Packaging dies to create this cute 4th of July treat bag. Disregard the treat – they taste lots better than they look! But I saw them at Aldi’s and grabbed them for this project.
I turned to Blueberry Bushel (just one of those colors I rarely use) and Real Red for the traditional red, white, and blue theme, then embossed the topper pieces with the Swirly Stars embossing folder – something new!
The label is from the Rounded Rectangle punch, along with a couple of retired star punches, and this little treat bag came together in no time.
It’s ok to pull out and use older products. I do try to stay current BUT there are simply some things we can’t do without. My fireworks stamp set is one of my oldies but goodies. And I bet there are several in your supplies you won’t part with.
Until next time, have a great day! Find time to stamp, to create, to craft, and God Bless!
