Good morning everyone!!!! If you are like me, when a new catalog arrives you start looking at the new bundles with all of the die cuts, the DSP, and the suites. We skim over those sets that are kind of non-descript. A few words, a few images, nothing that really draws your attention and gives you that “gotta have it” feeling.
I would throw the Love and Strength stamp set into that group. No dies, just a few images, and some simple greetings. BUT I’m thinking it’s kind of a keeper here! We don’t always need all of the dies and detailed stamps to make beautiful cards!!! Simple can also be the best!!!
Take for example this card! I paired the Love and Strength stamp set with the beautiful Thoughtful Journeys DSP found in the Annual Catalog. Using the Painted Trees embossing folder from the holiday card, this makes a quick card, uses one full 6×6 sheet of the DSP by using both sides of the paper, throw on a few gems to embellish and voila! Done!!!!
