When we talk about paper crafting, the first thing to come to mind is card making. I love to make cards and design classes for others specifically using just one stamp set to show the versatility of the product and to help stampers get more bang for their buck. But I also enjoy making framed home decor pieces such as samplers and shadowbox inserts. My Stamp ‘n Sip gals enjoy the variety and creativity to these pieces as well so over the years we have been together we have added new inserts to a variety of frames, all different sizes.
Going from Card Making to Framed Paper Crafting!
So when I first studied the Sparkle Of The Season Bundle I knew this would be the perfect size to continue with a current series of classes I’ve offered this year. A couple of years ago we had a bundle called Arrange A Wreath and my club members enjoyed doing inserts monthly for a 5×5 frame I had purchased. It was so popular that I offered a series of classes to customers not in my club. In January of 2021 another group started, and I have interest already for a 4th group to begin. We are down to the final quarter – October thru December – and this set is going to finish the year long class in style!
I embossed the 5×5 basic white background with the brick and mortar 3D embossing folder, then used Granny Apple Green and Basic Black to cut the leafed wreath.
An up close look at the detail of the dies!
It is the details built into the dies that gives this bundle the dimension, depth, and character isn’t it? Other than the banner stamped with Happy Halloween it is all created with die cuts and layers of texture. And the tiny bat is cut out of the Black foil specialty paper.
Amazing what you can pack into a 5×5 frame isn’t it? Many of my gals have this small piece sitting on their desks at work and have compliments monthly as inserts change with the season and holiday.
The Clock is Ticking for the End of Saleabration!
