My husband Jim – aka Pool Guy – would NOT agree with the heading above!!! He is always willing to help me with punching and running diecuts for my projects, but after punching everything for today’s project, he may be telling me no next time! LOL He had paper scraps and pieces flying around! Good thing the cleaning gal comes today!
A Cute Wrapping For Boxes Of Cherry Heads Candy!
I wanted to have these cherry head treat boxes ready for Stamp ‘n Sip last week before we left, but when I saw how fast time was moving and how much I had to do, these treats got placed on the backburner until July’s club nights. Super easy to put together, and turned out super cute as well! Double win!!
Measurements For The Wrapping:
I cut strips of Basic Black card stock 8.5 inches by 1 and 7/8 inches. The DSP measured 8.5 inches by 1 and 5/8 inches. Adhere the DSP to the card stock. After the two pieces are together, score on the long side at 3 and 1/8 inch, 3 and 3/4 inch, 6 and 7/8 inch, and 7 and 1/2 inch. Using the bone folder, fold and crease all score lines. Wrap the strip around the candy box and overlap with adhesive.
Not A Stamp Used! It’s All In The Punches!
Wrap and tie bow around the package. For the decoration, we punched decorative circle punches from vellum, Real Red for the cherries, Basic Black for the stems, and Garden Green for the leaves. I adhered everything together with dimensionals, then attached the decorative piece to the front of the treat box with dimensionals. Embellish with rhinestones – and voila! Finished!!!
Not A Traditional Use Of Pie Plates!
Until tomorrow, God Bless my friends!!!!
