I started a mission on Friday to accomplish CSP – CLEANING, SORTING AND PURGING in my craftroom! I’m excited to say that I’m making great headway and hopefully by Friday I can say Mission Accomplished! I have a couple of interruptions to work around – you know, those 2 school days – and a class to finish prepping for on Thursday but I’m getting there! The purging is the hardest part for me, because that means I’m pulling retired products from the shelves and having to say goodbye to many things I love, so that I can make room for the NEW things coming that I’m also going to love. Anyone else find purging difficult???
One Stamped Background, 4 Quick Cards!
I’ve noticed other stampers creating a large background image that they later cut into four 4 x 5 1/4 mats for card fronts so today, I gave it a try. I selected my color combos from a DSP package found in the new Annual catalog, then used stamped images from the Sending Smiles Bundle. I began with the largest, and darkest images and then continued to add layers of color and image to fill the corners of the mats, leaving the center of each with plenty of white space.

Final Thoughts:
My plans for today include CSP duties but also heading outside for some cleaning of garden beds as well. Next week we will make our journey to our favorite greenhouse because it’s time to start planting my flowers, and the following week we head to Michigan for a Leadership Retreat with other Stampin’ Up demonstrators. Always such a joy and motivation to be surrounded by other demos to visit and connect with. I’ve missed those in person connections while Stampin’ Up has pursued virtual opportunities during Covid so it will be awesome to gather again! Until next time, keep stamping, keep crafting, and God Bless!
