With Wednesday being the 10th day of the month, it means that our last day to reserve the July Paper Pumpkin is here! I’m looking forward to the Painted Petals kit arriving since the floral colors on the box are ones I would gravitate towards. I love bright flowers for showstopping color, so the colors of Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, Melon Mambo, and Calypso Coral are right up my alley!!!!
This month’s kit will create 9 beautiful cards in the colors listed, and are sure to bring a smile to the person receiving them. Click on the link below to request your kit before it is no longer available:

Some Florals From My Yard!
I love color, so when it comes to choosing color combos, I am quick to grab my ink pads or scraps of several colors and study them. Best yet is to look at them in natural light such as by a window. I enjoy putting different color combos together, and I find myself also naming the colors with the Stampin’ Up names! If I see a shirt with orange red blooms, I will think of them as Poppy Parade instead. I did the same thing when I did my tole painting all those years ago. Never Real Red, it was always Tomato Spice.
So let’s look at the color combos I put together in the following photos from my deck, and see if we can name them with Stampin’ Up colors!
Can you tell I love the Lemon Lime Twist Creeping Jenny??? One of my definite go to’s for gardening even though it’s a thug if it is planted in a bed instead of a container. So, how do you select color combos in your paper crafting??? Do your favorite shades carry over into your clothing, your flowers, your interior decorating?????
Fyi – I also dream in color! LOL!!! Until next time, have a great day, enjoy crafting, creating, and God Bless!
