Scraps multiply over and over when you are a paper crafter! For a paper crafting business owner it’s much worse – imagine class after class, projects for FB lives and website posts, etc. It can quickly overwhelm!
Some you save, many you throw away. But when it comes to decorative paper in Christmas colors or DSP that is holiday related, I keep! Scraps are the perfect pieces to use when making tags and one of my favorite things to do.
These tags were used with the leftovers from the Gingerbread and Peppermint DSP, along with the Kraft paper pack and the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks included in the Gingerbread and Peppermint Suite in the new mini holiday catalog.
I pulled out multiple dies suitable for tag bases, cut several die cut images from the DSP, coordinating card stock, and played!!
The Be Dazzling specialty paper in the Saleabration Collection makes fun accents as well! And how cool is it to change the color with our Blends markers?
So before you toss that scrap wait! Is it something you can turn into a gift tag for the holidays or other celebrations? You can contain those scraps with a small box like a past Paper Pumpkin one. then pull out the scrap stash anytime of the year and make tags. No need to wait for the holiday push!
