Today’s post is a continuation of both our Stampin’ Up floral bundles as well as preparing for our Techniques Class with a continuation of Embossing Paste. I’ve already had several reach out about not knowing all of the tools available on pages 136-137 in our annual catalog, as well as several orders for paste!! So many times, we just have to see it used and have a chance to try it out!
That’s why the Techniques Class is great – we work on stamping techniques as well as trying products that can add so much variety and interest to our paper crafting. The first group has been together for over 6 months now, and our second group will be starting in August. All of those attending are experienced papercrafters who are interested in trying some new ideas – kind of like accelerated stamping 101!!
Today’s Card With The Foursquare Masks!
Yesterday’s card used the Shimmery Paste, but today’s card focuses on our original Embossing Paste. I began with a Lost Lagoon mat, then used the paste straight out of the jar with no ink dyes, so you get the white, matte finish. My color combo was Pretty Peacock, Lost Lagoon, Flirty Flamingo, and Daffodil Delight and I have such an artistic way of picking my color palette – I stand in front of my ink pads and pull out colors that I think might play well together!!! LOL No rhyme or reason, just what looks pleasing to the eye!
Final Thoughts….
Tuesday nights are generally our Stamp. Ink. Paper – Creating With Pam and Lola FB LIVES. This week our team member Chris Howe is going to share a fun idea with the One Horse Open Sleigh Bundle as well as the One Horse, One Sleigh DSP. If you are not a member but would be interested in joining us, please click on the link below and do so. We began the group during COVID to keep us all crafting and connecting as we social distanced. It has become such an important part of our week to gather with our crafting friends we can’t stop. There is ALWAYS room for another!!!!
