Good Morning and Happy Tuesday! Please note – I’m trying to be optimistic here using the words GOOD and HAPPY. After a night where the brain refused to shut down and I was still awake after 2 am the last things I feel are GOOD and HAPPY! LOL!! And of course now the brain refuses to turn on because it’s taken me 20 minutes to type 4 lines!
Allowing the DSP To Shine Through!
I’ve a busy month in March so I’m trying to get a head start on birthday cards. I used this Duo Fold card design in my upcoming Tulip class and I thought it would work well with one of the patterns from the New Horizons package. I loved how it turned out – clean, simple, and allowing the DSP to take centerstage!
The Inside Of Today’s Card
Making Color Adjustments To Ribbon
We have two Evening Evergreen ribbons in the catalog but I felt the sheer one was too feminine and the braided one was too heavy. We still offer the Old Olive/Pretty Peacock reversible ribbon in the annual catalog, so taking the Evening Evergreen blend I colored over the Pretty Peacock side! Works like a charm and that ribbon was always a favorite of mine! To attach the ribbon, I taped the ribbon directly to the top of the scalloped label, then added the Old Olive mat and Basic White greeting on top of that with dimensionals. Ribbon is perfectly attached!
