It has been a busy week trying to wrap up as much as possible before I head to Mexico. Today’s to-do list is to design my Stamp ‘n Sip project seeing how we meet the day after I get home. It’s been brewing around in my head, so I simply have to implement the plan, so to speak!
Today’s project is my final one with the Little Latte Suite, and can I just say I understand WHY I purchased so much of the DSP???? The patterns in the DSP are great, and I have thoroughly enjoyed using it!! I especially love the color combo of Early Espresso, Pecan Pie, and Lost Lagoon. I know that these colors will definitely be used for one of my masculine cards later in May.
This adorable gift bag is the perfect way to package a trio of gourmet coffees with the small frame I made earlier this week. I used two full sheets of the DSP, scoring at 1 1/2 inches on the top, then the other three sides at 2 inches. Using tear and tape I folded down the top at the 1 1/2 inch score line and adhered it with tear and tape. This gives not only a cute contrasting pattern to the bag BUT ALSO the two layers makes it so much more sturdy when adding the ribboned handles!!!
The stamped image came from the retiring set In The Moment, then I chose Pecan Pie, Lost Lagoon, and Pretty Peacock blends to color in the images. Did you take a look at the top of the bag??? Check out the tissue paper!
I carried the three tone color combination over with stamped images on tissue paper!!!! How about that for coordination???? Living in a rural area sometimes makes it difficult to find or package the perfect gift. Our Wally World isn’t a supercenter so variety is limited. Yes, we have Dollar Tree and Dollar General, but when you want a special gift bag/tissue paper that coordinates you would probably have to go out of town. No need though when you can simply use your OWN papercrafting skills and supplies to create the coordination!!!!
A full week of crafting with the Latte Suite!!! Not bad mileage with something I’m not sure why I ordered in the first place!!!LOL!!
I will be back tomorrow morning with my ordering special for the first week of May AND the first week of the 2024 Annual Catalog going live! I hope you can find some time over the weekend to relax, grab a beverage of choice (mine will be Diet Coke), and look over the last chance list and the new catalog coming. And, while you are flipping through the new annual catalog, check out page #129 – which do you prefer????
God Bless everyone!!!
