Day 2 Of Cruising To Alaska!
Monday was a busy day of waiting in lines – waiting for the shuttle to take us to the cruise ship, waiting in line for check in procedures, waiting in line for the elevators, and waiting in line for dinner. We are close to the bow of the ship which is great for things such as the entertainment events in the Royal Theatre but also means we have quite a walk to the dining rooms which are located in the ship stern Pool Boy is doing fine, even with his fractured patella. He just takes it slow and easy.
Tuesday is simply a day for cruising as we work our way north to Alaska. Stampin’ Up! has a general session this morning for demonstrators and guests (Pool Boy informed me he’s not going), and our Hospitality Room opens up after lunch today for swaps, spins, and stuff. In several days we will have the hang of it as we maneuver around the ship – probably the by the last day at sea! Isn’t that the way it works????

These photos were taken from our balcony as we waiting to sail. I have to admit that Seattle is a beautiful city and I’m looking forward to have a few days after the cruise to explore.

Even from 100 miles away, Mount Rainier is breathtaking!

I woke up at 4:20 am to this view from our balcony. And I’m wide awake – we are three hours behind our time zone in Missouri, so this is my normal 7:30 wake time. Probably by the end of the cruise I will have adjusted to the time changes! That’s also how it works!
Tomorrow is our fishing charter in Sitka, so will hopefully be able to post before we dock. This week of posting is dependent on the internet as we sail, so you may fine no posts in your mailbox, or you might find two. It’s all left in the hands of the internet! Until next time, have a great day, keep crafting, and God Bless!
