We had a full house this past weekend with all of the family home for an early Christmas. We played games, ate too much food, laughed, opened presents, and enjoyed being together. Every other year the kids are here for Christmas Eve so this year was scheduled early. Worked out great since there is a Chiefs home game on Christmas Day so we are hoping to be able to attend.
Since I’ve not had time nor felt up to crafting these past couple of weeks, I spent the day working on the pile of Christmas cards to write. It’s kind of a sad thing though – as I went thru my address book I found myself doing the annual scratching out of names for friends/relatives who are no longer with us. It seem as if there is more scratched out now then still listed, so I’m needing a new address book to transfer addresses. Bittersweet day.
With so many to address and send, I have a specific method – first, I go thru the pile of cards received and mail cards back to them. Then, I moved into the address book. I have over 50 written and that is just a start! Tomorrow, I will go thru today’s mail for cards, then I move to my school address book, the church directory, my stamping friends and team who are found in my phone address book. It will be a couple of hours every day this week before all of the cards are addressed and mailed. I noticed a couple of church members hand delivering card yesterday before the service – smart move with the cost of postage!!!!
A Sampling Of Today’s Cards Received!
So, I grabbed out several of the cards we received that were sent from papercrafting friends. There was no rhyme or reason to which cards I selected! Enjoy this small parade of handmade cards!

Final Thoughts…
It’s rather a difficult task of sending cards to my stamping friends and team, what with trying to send them cards they didn’t also make in one of our classes!!! I have a pile set aside of cards I made and posted on the blog as well as ones Pam and I shared on our group page for those gals!!! That’s about the easiest way to send them a totally different card. Will I have enough different ones??? I doubt it but I have time to make more since we have celebrated early.
Until next time, please stay healthy and safe, find time to craft and create, and God Bless!
