Short, sweet, and to the point so I can meet the deadline for this post to land in your email boxes today!!!
Last night was our 1st Christmas Card Class for 2024 and we had a busy night of stamping, die cutting, and the assembly of cards to prepare for the holiday season! Just as bad as WalMart, right??? Nothing like getting started on the holidays 6 MONTHS in advance!!! LOL!!

The cards I designed had sleds and snowflakes, pines, trucks, and packages, and q beautiful floral bough to color, and this green beauty above. Turns out, the easiest card of the night and my last one to design was the favorite!!! Notice not any color but green, gold, and very vanilla – I love monochromatic cards! Very simple greeting and stamped images, a touch of gold foil as a mat, some gold on the ribbon, and a few sprinkled sequins – such an easy card to reproduce!
My embossing folder is the retired bough folder, but nothing else really worked for this card. We have the falling snowflake folder, but green snow didn’t really cut it either. So, to the retired pine bough I turned! And with a limit of three DSP packages from the Online Exclusive Pre-Order I had to be frugal and careful how I cut the DSP pattern to give me enough pieces for the number of cards we prepped. It’s times like these you measure twice, (do the math to be sure you will have enough), then cut after all of the checking!!!
I’m looking forward to the actual order of this DSP so I can grab a few more packages! I saw this entire suite in person while on the Mexico Incentive trip and it’s beautiful. This is somewhat of a MEGA SUiTE, because it includes coordinating vellum, gems, two stamp/die bundles, so you can be sure I will be using this suite multiple times through our classes.
Here is hoping you have a great day, find some time to create, craft, and play, and God Bless!!!
