Crafting in the wee hours….
Starting the day about 1 am is probably not the best thing to do! But when I can’t fall asleep, I find getting up and crafting helps! My friend and team member, Johnna Bixenman-Clark, requested a stamping project that I’ve been thinking about for several weeks. This middle of the night craft session was the perfect time to put the ideas to paper. Within an hour I had a solid start and back to bed I went. I find I can do some of my most creative work in the middle of the night – why is that?????
This morning I picked back up where I left off, and after a couple of hours and several texts/calls to Johnna, it is almost finished. I’ll post and share next week, but for a sneak peak, you can study the stamp sets Campology and Mountain Air. If you know Johnna that should give you an idea what direction we are going with this project!
Showcasing Pam’s Halloween Card!
Ok – on to today’s project! This card is one my up line Pam Cosby designed for our FB Live earlier this week. We continue with the Halloween theme but take a look at the DSP she used – NOT what it was designed for!

Creative way to use Christmas DSP!
Pam used the Frightfully Cute Bundle in the mini holiday catalog, but she chose a selection from the Peaceful Place DSP which is a Christmas DSP!!! Don’t you love how perfect it works? The color combo of Basic Black, Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, and Silver foil coordinates beautifully with the cabin image in the Peaceful Place stamp set, but it also has multiple uses. Try thinking outside of the box how to use your DSP in creative ways – it will help you to get more bang for your buck! And is that not the cutest witch silhouette flying across the moon? Great card Pam!!!!

Prayers for Jim please!
Tonight’s post is short and sweet. Tomorrow we head to the hospital for Jim’s hip replacement which he has waited all summer for, so please keep him in your prayers for a speedy recovery. And please keep me in your prayers so that my nursing skills improve – give me a group of 100 elementary children any day over nursing someone! A nurse I’m not. Our medical personnel are true heroes in every sense!
Until next time, keep stamping, keep crafting, and God Bless!
