My goodness, it feels like fall has finally arrived here in northeast Missouri. This past weekend temps were in the upper 80’s – not especially normal for mid October – and this week temps at night will drop to the low 40’s. Our trips to St. Louis and Kansas City will include jeans and sweater/sweatshirt for Nora’s soccer game and the Chiefs’ game.
And that’s OK with me! Oh, there are times I wished we lived in a location where the temps stayed in the upper 70’s with no humidity the WHOLE YEAR -that NO HUMIDITY being the key! -, but I’d probably miss the changing of the seasons that we experience. If it’s just too hot and miserable in the summer, I stay inside. As for the winter with blustery winds, dropping temps, and snowy, no problem – I’ll also just stay inside! Pool Boy and I are homebodies (him more than me) so we are quite content homebound. Anyone else here enjoy spending time at home???
