Oh my goodness, it is cold!!! I’m thinking the bears and other hibernating creatures have it right during winter – just sleep the season away!!! I’m huddled under my heated throw and even Shelby the Canine Diva is cold enough she’s laying in front of the fire. She never does that, but prefers to sleep on the couch, in her fluffy bed, or on the top of the recliners. For her to sprawl out in front of the fire tells you she’s hit her “I’m done with this cold too” mark.
Pam zipped over last night and we had a great time sharing a new kit that is currently available and is a definite item to order. I know, so many experienced, avid papercrafters shy away from the kits, thinking they are just for new crafters, but this kit may change your perspective!
The HEIRLOOM ARRANGEMENT KIT (Item #165007) is LOADED with materials for 8 cards, but with a paper cutter and card stock you easily double the cards to 16, and with some creative papercrafting I know you can probably get over 20!!!
Pam and I cut the 4 pink and blue card bases in half so we had 8 DSP mats measuring 4 by 5 1/4 inches, then added white card bases with black mats measuring 4 1/8 by 5 3/8 inches. There are SO MANY floral pieces, pennants, labels, and greenery – and just one of each! – you can create such a variety of cards with none exactly alike!
The kit comes with a small Pecan Pie ink spot, as well as a small stamp set with greetings of thanks, a small butterfly, and a small grid to use on the inside of cards as well as envelopes. Grab some of your own stamps and add the greetings you need. Remember, the more cards you create, the more envelopes you will need as well!
