I’ve always loved snowdays. Waking up to winter weather and knowing that we are not leaving the house for the day. No going anywhere and no one coming here – just a quiet day to kick back and get caught up on projects around the house OR BETTER YET to kick back and watch a movie, read a book, do a puzzle – and no guilt cause you can’t go anywhere!
Our gifts are completely wrapped and under the tree, the house has been reclaimed from all of the paper, ribbons, boxes, etc. and my Stampin’ Up orders are bagged and ready to pick up WHEN weather permits. So today’s game plan – I’m moving HOLIDAY catalog OUT of the craft room and SPRING catalog IN! I’m boxing up the left over DSPs, the retiring stamp sets and dies, etc. to make way for the new. In fact, I just unboxed my preorder last night because I’ve been in Christmas mode. Time to play with the upcoming products coming out January 5!

Final Thoughts…
So, I’m ready to enjoy this “forced stay at home vacation day” due to weather. Then I think about those people who we so depend on during bad weather – the road crews, the patrol, the linemen, etc. – and I feel guilty because these days I love are the worst days for them.
