By the time this post arrives in your email, we will be well on our way to the starting point of our cruise. We’ve talked so many times about traveling to the northeast for the beautiful fall colors, but finally the trip is scheduled and it’s time to enjoy. I guess we both always thought we would drive to the northeast when we got around to the fall trip, but instead we are cruising out of Quebec City and going by ship instead.
Want to follow along with our travels? Listed below are the travel days and ports along our way. Here is hoping the fall colors are beginning to happen. We couldn’t push the trip back further into October because of grandson #2’s arrival planned for Oct. 24. And of course, we had to be sure to plan around the Chief’s away games because Pool Boy has yet to forgive me for having to miss not one but TWO home games the year of our Germany trip! LOL
- Sunday, Sept. 29 Depart from Quebec City, Canada
- Monday, Sept. 30 Cruising the Gulf Of St. Lawrence Seaway
- Tuesday, Oct. 1 Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island
- Wednesday, Oct. 2 Sydney, Nova Scotia
- Thursday, Oct. 3 Halifax, Nova Scotia
- Friday, Oct. 4 Portland, Maine
- Saturday, Oct. 5 Disembark in Boston
We will be flying home Saturday, and returning to Macon since I am scheduled for organ duties at Sunday’s service on the 6th.
That gives us about 24 hours home before we head to Kansas City on Monday morning, Oct. 7 for the Chief’s home game for Monday Night Football. Not a home game missed! LOL! We have our priorities in order! Until next time, have a great day everyone!!!
