Good morning everyone!!! We’ve a busy day ahead with first a doctor’s appointment, then a drive to St. Louis to stay overnight at our daughter’s house. The girls have their annual Fine Arts fair tonight at school, and I always enjoy seeing their work on display. And one of my favorite perks – seeing how much of the retired Stampin’ Up paper the students have put to use!!! Once a year I go through my DSP piles and thin out the retired papers. I know that I can sell some online, but honestly, it takes lots of work to package, photograph, upload to a site, and then to monitor and ship. And still have lots remaining. For me, I enjoy boxing it up and donating it instead to the kids and I will find it all over the art show. Back ground paper, torn mosaic, 3D projects, etc. will be on display and it’s fun to see others using the papers I no longer can.
Last night I shared these cards, showing how to use the DSP and the cut/shuffle techniques to add interest to your card making hobby, but also as a way to use DSP that’s retiring. Happy 1/2 Birthday Baby Benjamin!!!
How about a sweet picture of our youngest grandbaby Benjamin Reed? He’s 6 months old today!!! He has the face of his mommy, the red hair of his daddy, and enjoys chewing on fingers, laughing at his older brother Cal, and sucking his thumb with his index finger curled around his tiny nose. Little tyke has had several ear infections and some eating issues as well, but when he’s awake he’s happy and busy taking everything in. He’s the perfect ending to our group of grandchildren!
Pool Boy and I are heading out of town for several days with the blessing of his doctors. We need some down time to enjoy a change of scenery, to laugh with some close friends, and just to have life slow down after everything that has happened these past few weeks. I will be checking in and out since my computer is going with us, but there will be no FB LIVES next week while we are gone.
