Even though I’ve griped about the whole winter thing, I have to admit I enjoy watching the falling snow from inside our home. The white, pristene blanket of snow covering the ground is rather peaceful watching, isn’t it? It slows down traffic, it slows us down mentally because we aren’t going anywhere, and it brings a muffled sound barrier to our world for a bit.
And then, it’s not so pretty when it starts melting and you see all the grimy stuff on the roads, the dirty clods of earth that got pitched on the curb when the snowplow went by, the yuck and muck left in parking lots, streets, and inside the doors of businesses from people out and about. But as with everything else, there is a time and place for all of it! When the snow comes, the muck and yuck will be behind and that’s ok because it’s just part of the cycle. Kind of like Wally World – pull the Christmas leftovers and push out the Valentine’s merchandise before New Year’s Day!!! By February 15 the Easter stuff will be rolling out, etc.. Part of the cycle!!!!
Let’s Focus On Heart Dies Today!!!
I shared this cute card above on our FB group page – Stamp. Ink. Paper – Creating With Pam And Lola! We try to go live on Tuesday evenings if possible, but occasionally we have to adjust nights due to scheduling issues. Last night Pam hunkered down at home due to the dense fog in our area, so I quickly threw this card together using the heart dies we currently have available. The polka-dotted heart above is created from two dies in the Hooray For Surprises die set, and the smaller hearts and banners came from the Adorning Hearts Hybrid Folder set. I paired it with the Real Red/Burlap ribbon combo from the Annual catalog along with the iridescent foil gems for a quick but beautiful card!

CLASS 1 – The Valentine’s Class is a PRODUCT BASED CLASS – I have specific items I order for you ahead of time to use on the cards. The cost of this class is $30, and includes the following:
- a full package of the Iridescent Foil Gems
- a full package of the Real Red/burlap combo ribbons from the Annual catalog
- 1/2 package of gold foil
- 1/2 package of the Envelope Treat Boxes
- kit includes 8 cards (2 of 4 designs) and two simple treat boxes, including all of the die cuts, punches, card bases and mats to make the cards
CLASS 2 – The Grandkids’ Card Class will be order based, so you will place an order the day of the class. Class will include 8 cards (2 of 4 designs) and will include a card for Valentine’s Day with the Bee Mine suite, St. Pat’s Day, Easter, and birthday.

Final Thoughts…
I will be participating in a local crop weekend so will be in and out for the next few days. I’ll be busy designing the Grandkids’ Card Class – explains no pictures, doesn’t it????? – while writing tutorials for the Valentine’s Day class. Pool Boy will be holding down the fort and then with the arrival of Sunday afternoon we will be shifting to Chiefs fan mode. I love football, and will greatly miss it when the championship game is over and done. BUT thank goodness for smart tvs and recording possibilities, we can watch some of the better games over!!!! It keeps us going until mid April with the NFL Draft, then training camps, preseason games, then opening day of football.
