Pool Boy and I are up physically but pretty sure we are NOT firing on all cylinders mentally. Yesterday was the opening game for the Chiefs and there was no way we were going to miss the celebration. It was about a 17 hour day from when left for KC until we arrived home this morning alittle after 2am. So I hope you will forgive me for a short post with very little craft talk!
Here’s our group – The Tomahawk 20 that has grown by leaps and bounds. Such a fun group to tailgate with. Check out the flagpole on the right – you can see me and Pool Boy, and the two men behind us are two of my nephews that met up with us.
One of the hottest tailgating parties we’ve ever experienced, and so thankful we had tents to provide shade. Thankfully a weather change brought in a storm that lowered the temps even though it delayed the game for a short while. The weather didn’t damper the celebration spirits though, and we were able to enjoy the festivities for our back to back SuperBowl wins.
Fireworks, flyovers, parachuters — it added to the festivities. And a game that literally was won or lost, depending on your team, by less than 2 inches. Unreal!
I’ll be back Saturday and I will be back to crafting and stamping. Right now though, I REALLY do not want to be around a papercutter! Today will be a wash craft-wise. And thats ok! What’s coming up????
- Paper/Ribbon shares will be arriving Monday – time to cut and package and mail out by next Friday!
- In Person Bingo at church on Thursday night the 12th!!! There are a couple of spots left!
