Final Thoughts….
With a calendar loaded like this, the month of March will slip by quickly!!! Last year with all of the outside maintenance to our home following the hail storm and our travelling, I chose to pass on planting flowers. It was a smart move on my part but I missed them, so I’ll be ready to get my containers out and ready for spring planting. Pool Boy usually has to take me to our favorite greenhouse – Cedar Lane in Waverly, MO – the last week of April but this year it will have to be the first week of May.
Currently I have daffodils, daylilies, and irises that I can see out the window, and if the weather holds this weekend I’m planning to cut back all of the dead growth on my lamb’s ears. I have friends who have already planted lettuce and potatoes, and before you know spring will be here. My FAVORITE season of all!!! Until then though, it’s time to go to my craft room, get it cleaned, and get going on next week’s classes.
Our daughter Megan and the girls will be here later today so I will probably be missing this weekend posting. Until next time, have a wonderful weekend, find time to do what makes you happy, and God Bless!!!!
