As we continue to play with the Whimsy and Wonder Suite from Stampin Up I chose to create a small gift box with Christmas gift tags. Earlier this month I saw a post with a die cut label from the Scalloped Contour Labels as a gift tag! Creative and definitely not what the die was intended for – thinking outside the box again.
Design first, cut and stamp second!
After designing one tag, I went to work running die cuts, stamping trees and the inside of the labels, and laid everything out for a fast assembly line!
When in doubt turn to your basic label dies for inspiration!
The tree medallion on the tag front was created with circles cut from both the layered circle dies and also the Tasteful Labels dies. When it doubt, always turn to your basic shape dies to create layers – you can never go wrong! And using the laser cut snowflakes under the medallion was the perfect decoration. Fast and sweet!
Once I had my gift tags complete, I wanted to package them in a small paper pumpkin box you can purchase in my on line store. Problem though – the box is larger than the tags and it needs some organization to make the inside look as appealing as the outside!

I will be taking a couple of days off but will return on Sunday.
