Why is it not easy to check in for a flight????? After 45 minutes, and more than 7 times entering ticket info, scanning Pass Port info, then being sent to a second app for travel into Canada, AND LOTS of bad language on my part we are FINALLY checked in! Now this might throw you because you are seeing this post on the 9th of August BUT I typed and scheduled my posts the two days before we left.
I love to travel but I hate doing the prep work to get us there, and as for suitcases I put them off to the last minute because I have those more!!! LOL. Of course Pool Boy said their is one remedy to dealing with all of this – do not travel! Since I’m not willing to give travelling up I’ll just suffer through and continue to complain, say bad words, and push on through!
Super Simple Christmas Cards For Last Minute Needs!
Sometimes we need Christmas cards right at the last minute! For those times when you totally forgot to send someone a card, and they didn’t forget you and sent one!!!! A card that you can churn out multiple of in a matter of minutes, and this card will do just that!
Can you see it’s the very same layout as the Halloween and Thank You cards I posted the past two days??? I simply rotated the layout 90 degrees so we went from a portrait layout to a landscape one. All of the measurements are the same, but this one doesn’t have a white mat on front to anchor the Halloween stuff or the zinnia blooms. Instead I’m letting the DSP take center stage, and simply using a couple of tags to carry the Merry Christmas greeting.
Recognize the DSP???? It’s the Traditions Of St. Nick found in under the Online Exclusive tab. In fact, the dies and greetings came from the Online Exclusive section as well! Both are part of the Greetings Of The Season bundle. I’ve already used this stamp set multiple times, and the dies that come with the bundle are perfect for tags!
But maybe not so much for labels on cards!!! Or can they??? So SORRY for the fuzzy detail to the picture above, but can you see the small hole on the left end of the white label???? This is the spot for the string or ribbon of the tag. BUT you can use these dies for labels as well with a bit of disguising. First, I popped a white dimensional under the hole to help support it and to fill in the spot. Then if you go back to the picture at the top of this post, you can see I added a rhinestone for coverage. An easy fix for sure!!!
Final Thoughts……
By this post we will be down to our final days of the cruise, and all that checking in crud at the beginning of the post has to be repeated!!! That means the bad language will also be repeated. But, before you know it we will be home, and will need to recover from our vacation. We fly in on Monday, Aug. 12 and depending upon how late and tired we are we may head on home to Macon. I have two classes scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday the 14th and 15th but luckily, they are doing the same thing so one prep for two classes.
Our new Holiday Mini Catalog copies were ordered August 6 so I will have copies available for pick up or mailing, so please reach out if you need a copy!!! Until we are back home, have a great day doing whatever makes you happy, and God Bless!!!!
