For many years Sunday nights were my “plan of attack”night to get us through the upcoming week. I made my weekly calendar, organized lunches for the week, clean laundry back in bedrooms and put away, etc. You’ve got the drift because you probably did the same. Even though I’m retired, old habits are hard to break. I’ve my list for the week, I have two projects that have to be completed today, my class later this morning is already set up and ready to go, AND I’ve kind of got my FB LIVE ready as well!

After a simple dinner I head to my room and pull stuff for my Monday morning FB LIVE. RARELY do I create my project ahead because I usually don’t take the time to complete the project and prep. I refer to this as “crafting on the fly.” I have a game plan in my head and it might work, might not. But that’s ok!!!! I think it’s important to see how we can work with what we have, adjust and pivot and STILL create a beautiful card or project!!
Focus For The Next Six Weeks – Work With Any Stamps I’ve Not Used Yet!

Today’s card begins with the SeaSide Bay Suite. Such Beautiful DSP but I haven’t used yet. First thing I do when I open a DSP is check which colors Stampin’ Up coordinates it with!!! Why struggle trying to figure out what color of card stock you need when the list is right there on the back???? I would have not have paired Mint Macaron with Night Of Navy but Stampin’ Up always pushes the creativity button with their DSPs. By starting with a suite I have the stamp set, dies, and embellishments at hand and ready to create.

If you missed my FB LIVE you can always go back and catch the replay. I try to post a video every Monday morning and I save for future viewings. If you are NOT a FB fan though, I also upload my Monday videos to my YouTube channel. Click on the links below to follow and subscribe so you receive notifications to future recordings, my upcoming classes and stampin’ events, as well as current promotions from Stampin’ Up!!! Even if you think you are following please check – I have two FB pages as well as a very busy group page which do not automatically connect you to all pages. So confusing, isn’t it???

Final Thoughts…
We have a busy schedule these next two weeks with granddaughters arriving and departing depending upon when their school’s spring break is. I’m thankful we are able to help our kids out with the grands AND that they want to come to Nana’s and Papa’s house. The time will come too soon when that will probably change. Until then, we soak up all of the hugs, cuddles, and kisses and they pretty much take precedence over everything else. So if I miss a day posting you’ll know why! Until tomorrow, keep crafting, keep stamping, and God Bless!!!
