Good morning everyone and welcome to the weekend!!!!! Even retired people look forward to the weekend!!! And in northeast Missouri it’s a beautiful, sunny day to enjoy from inside the house seeing that it’s only 35 degrees! I have lots of things to get accomplished this weekend since we are heading to Houston mid-week for Stampin’ Up’s OnStage event, so let’s get right down to it!
Pairing Dainty Delights With Hope You Know – Page 22!!
I had a few minutes yesterday to crank out a needed thank you card, so I turned to just a few tools besides ink and cardstock. I cut two of the white mats for this card, and punched a circle in one of them. I laid the mask on top of the 2nd white mat, and added color to the circle with a blending brush. First overall color was Lost Lagoon, and the 2nd was a very light layer of Pretty Peacock. Rule of thumb when using blending brushes – work with a light hand! You can always add more ink, but you can not take it away!!!
The chosen greeting came from the stampset Hope You Know, the floral image came from Dainty Delight, and the blends used were Dark Lost Lagoon and Dark Flirty Flamingo. A beautiful card with no die cuts, no elaborate detail or technique – something ANYONE can create with a few tools on hand!

Registration for our 2024 Spring Retreat – A Gathering Of Friends! – continues and spots are being reserved! But don’t worry – we have a spot saved for YOU!!!!
Our retreat is available IN PERSON as well as ONLINE with goody bag, make and takes, and some special treats included! Cost is $35 and includes a goody bag of aprx. $25 in product, 8 make and takes, snacks, along with a couple of special gifts. For those requesting ONLINE no shipping will be added – your snack portion of the cost will simply become your shipping!!! BUT craft retreats are always better with someone to sit and visit with, so encourage your friend or friends to join us! There will be 2 crafters at each table, so be sure to tell us who you want to sit beside!
