For years I’ve heard about the Top Of The Rock tour and museum, but there was never a time to work it into the schedule. I can say that today we worked it into the schedule and it was worth it!!! We thoroughly enjoyed the golf cart tour, the Ozark museum with the Native Indian artifacts was very extensive, and throw in a great day of weather – well worth it!!!

Before we left for these few days away, I grabbed the Frosted Forest bundle from my Online Exclusive preorder. The new online exclusives will be available the first week of July for customers so I wanted to get an idea what we could do with this bundle. I shared a fall card, a spring card, and today’s is a winter card. I look forward to some Halloween DSP to create a scary night scene with the trio of tree outlines – can’t you see those working?

I’ve used the same layout for all three cards, but for today’s card I rotated to a horizontal layout. The snowflake DSP strip is another print from the Iconic DSP package (also the strip from the fall card was in this package). The greeting tag comes from another new online exclusive product as well as the greeting.
The snowflake embossing folder is a carryover from last year’s holiday catalog, and it worked well with the color combo of Smoky Slate and Misty Moonlight. Throw in some white baker’s twine and you have an easy winter scene card!

Above are all three of the cards I threw together in less than an hour! Same layout, same bundle, with different colors, greetings, and embossed mats and for different times of the year!
We head home Thursday, first dropping Jim’s mom off at her home, then on to Macon. Our getaway was short but relaxing. No need to plan every minute of the day on this trip. But as always, it’s good to head home! I will be back on Friday to share another project, but until then have a great day, keep stamping, keep crafting, and God Bless!!!
