Happy Black Friday!!! So many people love shopping for the Black Friday specials, but I for one do not participate. (I should also mention I’m not a shopper. Not something I enjoy) Oh, I have years ago – sitting in the parking lot at Wal-Marts waiting for the doors to open at some early morning hour, then doing the whole search for all of the deals you are interested in. Now, I prefer to stay in bed, then order our gifts either online OR wait til Small Business Saturday to purchase gifts. I’ve already ordered gifts from local businesses such as Pampered Chef, Norwex, and Usborne books (which has changed names I believe) so I can support others like myself. One of my friends has a home bakery where I’ve placed orders for rolls, and our brisket is already ordered for our family Christmas get together from a local caterer. I love to support the small personal businesses and direct sales people!

Final Thoughts…..
Some of you are still gathering for Thanksgiving feasts this weekend, and others are putting up holiday decorations and preparing for Advent which begins next week. Whatever your plans are, enjoy the preparations and festivities. Look at your small businesses in your area – they may not offer the variety of the big box stores, but supporting those small businesses and those who have direct sales businesses supports your communities as well. Have a wonderful weekend, find time to do something that brings you joy, and God Bless!!!!
