Hey Friends!!! Welcome to Friday AND the start of the weekend!!! We’ve a quiet weekend ahead thankfully, starting tonight with Cal coming to stay over with Nana and Papa. We’ve got some activities planned, one of which is some stamping. He loves to use the stamps until he gets inky fingers. He also likes to help with the die cutting machine, so we can craft AND keep grandson busy at the same time! I love having the boys in town with us. They pop in every so often, and we do the same, and it’s a completely different feeling than the girls who are three hours away.
We will see the girls in a couple of weeks, then we have a week together at the Wisconsin Dells before school is back in session. They are having a busy summer, with STEM Camp just finishing up (STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and another new camp starting next week. Nora is in soccer, and Fiona is in soft ball and swim team so life is busy at their house.

Today is the final day using the new SEASONAL TRIO EMBOSSING FOLDERS coming to Online Exclusives in July!!! All of our cards have had the very same layout, but by adjusting the stamps, the DSP, and the embossing folders we are able to create cards for Christmas, Fall, and Halloween.

For the black mats, I used the Two-Tone Card Stock by Stampin’ Up! Since this card stock line has the white core between the layers, I can take a sanding block and lightly sand the embossed images, making them pop against the solid black background. Want more contrast?? Simply sand more!

And here are all of the cards for this week!!! The Christmas card will be one for our upcoming June Christmas Card Class, and I have to say that scarecrow is super cute as well! No need to have a different card layout for every card!!! Simply change up the DSP, the theme, the stamps, and you can quickly and efficiently create multiple cards in one sitting!
Here is hoping you have a great weekend, and you can celebrate with family for Father’s Day! I’ll be back next week working with a new pop up class heading our way, and a DSP paper share for our COLOR COLLECTIONS!!!! Until then, find some time to create, and God Bless!
