Today is kind of a down day. After two classes this week I’m using today to catch up – we’ve errands to run, a meeting at church, and I need to simply put away and clean up after these earlier sessions. There’s something about “putting things away” that I enjoy – warped, aren’t I?? It’s all the stuff piling up that drives me nuts, and sometimes I have to ignore it, which isn’t easy.
I am trying to “reset” the kitchen/dining/living room nightly with things put away before heading to bed. It makes for a nice start to the morning for sure with no clutter visible! But after two days of back to back classes I just dumped it all on the dining room table and closed my eyes. TODAY it will all be gone, my room back in order, and ready to craft again tomorrow. And then I’ll need to clean AGAIN. It’s a revolving door.

My goal this week is to use the 12 x 12 page from the Cute As A Bug DSP with all of the rectangle mats. Yesterday’ berry card used the 3 x 4 Poppy Parade mat, and today’s card has the dandelion piece. I paired with the tiny floral pattern, and the color combo of Mossy Meadow and Crushed Curry.

The inside of this cute card has a twist to it, so be sure to watch the YouTube vide for how to assemble. Miss the recording?? You can find it at the link below on my YouTube channel:

We received our travel info and registration for the Alaska incentive trip for the first week of June this morning. We’ve travelled several times to Alaska, and you would think by now we’ve seen it, but the itinerary includes a port and also a section we’ve never travelled. Pool Boy is ok when we cruise some place warm BUT he much prefers the beauty of Alaska. I’m hoping we can plan a fishing trip the day we are in Sitka for him. And yes, I go along – I enjoy the charter and seeing him enjoy fishing. He was always more of a hunter, but fishing is easier for him. Other highlights include the train trip on the White Pass Scenic Railway.
Trips such as this from Stampin Up would not be possible without my stamping friends and customers. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so very much for supporting my very small business, and giving Pool Boy and I the opportunity to attend. The time is coming when travels will stop, and these memories will fill our days instead. We are required to post that less than 1% of demonstrators achieve these results.
Thank you. God Bless!
