We’ve a couple of stuffed days before we leave for vacation, and I’ve made a major decision. There will be NO crafting supplies going on this trip! I may well go into crafter’s shock without something to do, but it’s been such a busy couple of weeks packing in classes and clubs and if we cross the proverbial finishing line Tuesday night around 7:30 still standing we will be good!!! Pool Boy is such great help with running dies and embossing, and I’ve kept the paper cutter busy. Yesterday I stuffed over 200 cards with mats, labels, and dies so the end is in sight! I WILL take my computer for daily posts so do check in on our travels, but other than a new Nora Robert book to start and my phone I’ll have nothing else to keep me busy. We will see if I follow thru on this come Wednesday morning!
The Bee Mine DSP – Such A Happy Decorative Paper!!!
I’m heading to lunch with others to celebrate the birthday of a dear friend. She loves this paper, but more so she loves the bees!!! They make her happy, so I decided to grab the Bee Mind DSP to make a special birthday card for her! There are some cute floral images as well as stems which makes it easy to pull the DSP images onto the card front, as well as carrying them over onto the envelope for decoration as well.
The Inside View Of This Fun Fold!!!
See! I carried the stamped flowers to the inside of the card as well!!! Wonder where those stamped greetings have come from???? They are from the Flower Cart stamp set and are perfect for today’s card!
Final Thoughts…..
I’ve know our birthday gal for over 30 years, since she had my children in classes back in the local elementary school. We took paint classes together for many years as well, and she probably has a collection of Lola Christmas ornamentsthat’s second only to my originals! She purchased many ornaments over the years that we participated in local craft shows. But, it is our love of papercrafting and stamping that has deepened our friendship. We were in Pam’s stamp club together for years, and we continue to stamp together. Stampin’ Up has given me new friends, reconnected me with friends from years past, and also deepened friendships, so this saying of “I love how our friendship has grown” is perfect for her birthday card. I treasure our friendship and hope we have many more years to nurture that friendship!
I hope you had an awesome day yesterday with your family, Arlene (really, her birthday was yesterday) and I hope you have a wonderful day today as we continue to celebrate you!!! So thankful that Stampin’ Up has helped our friendship grow!
Hoping each of you have a great day, find some time to craft, and God Bless!!!
