It’s FRIDAY!!!! There’s always that little “woo hoo” when the end of the work week is here, even though I’ve been retired for several years. Maybe it’s the knowledge that our friends who still work are free and we can plan dinner out or a trip to the city. Or maybe it’s because I rarely schedule stamping events on Saturdays so I KNOW I’ve nothing scheduled. And maybe it’s just so engrained in our mind that “we work Monday-Friday, weekend off” the habit is hard to break. Whatever it is, it’s Friday, and woo hoo!!
Last night was our Grandkids’ Card Class, and the cow card seemed to be the favorite of the 4 designs. I’ve said before I tend to not pick the cutesy stamps and bundles, but I have to say these cows are adorable. Cute sayings, cute faces – they are a win win no matter how you use them!
And here’s another “woo hoo” moment – when they brought Lemon Lime Twist back into our color collections I was thrilled!!! One of my faves for sure, and it’s awesome paired with black!!! Can you see the texture of the background mat?? It’s the new embossing folder Dotted Circles 3D. LOVE THIS FOLDER!!! Throw in some of the retired gingham ribbon (BUT THERE IS ALSO A WIDER BLACK GINGHAM RIBBON CURRENT!) and some easy coloring with blends and you have a cute card that will put the smile on any one’s face – young or old.
Final Thoughts….
Next week – beginning June 5 – Stampin’ Up is rolling out a promotion on BUNDLES!!! I’m unsure if it’s for a short time or the full month, but they are lowering the price on bundles by 10% more – that’s on tope of the original bundle savings. I’ll have more info on that the first of next week.
AND since JULY is our next addition to the ONLINE EXCLUSIVE line for customers, it means that DEMONSTRATORS can begin ordering June 5 as well. It won’t be long after you will start seeing new product used in projects. I know for a fact there are at least 2 new Christmas Suites, a new Halloween bundle, AND a large leaf embossing folder from just studying the photos they have shared with us. Can’t wait to see what other new items are heading our way!
